Busy, Busy, Busy, Pickle Tasting, Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been busy little bees around here lately. We almost have a crawler, she combat crawls right now. Yes, we have it on video, but I can't get it to upload. I'll edit this post when I get it to work. Tim has been in Spanish school this week, so we have gotten to see A LOT more of daddy and it has been WONDERFUL!!! However, trying to get ready with someone else in the bathroom too was not that easy. I'm not so sure we could work the same shift-ha! Anyway, we gave Lyllian a pickle spear while at Panera Bread and she LOVED it!!!! She takes after her Momma, awww.

Sorry for the poor quality, my camera battery was dead (of course) and I used my phone.

Faith Is...

Yesterday was an a.w.e.s.o.m.e. day at church!! Rob preached about what faith is, we used the entire chapter of Hebrews 11. It was really an eye opener to me and the take aways are all something that are easy to remember. So that being said...

Faith Is

*Believing when you can't see it.

*Obeying when you don't understand it.

*Giving when you don't have it.

(side note-this is not just monetary)

*Persisting when you don't feel like it.

*Thanking God before you have it.

*Trusting if you don't get it.

And, just so you get your Lyllian fix, here ya go...

Par-tay!!

Our niece, Molly, had her 5th birthday yesterday. Today, was her party and Lyllian's first time to attend a birthday party. The theme was a luau. The kids got to swim (obivously indoors since it is snowing here) and all of them got to wear grass skirts and leis. Lyllian had fun! She looked so cute in her little grass skirt. **Sorry, no pics of the skirt, my camera died.** But I do have a picture of our little water baby. She LOVED the water!!! We will have so much fun this summer!!!!!

Snow Day...again

This is what we woke up to this morning...

Isn't that BEAUTIFUL!! I didn't think we would actually get this, but at 5:00 this morning I received a text saying we didn't have school, but this time it was snow and not ice. It was the pretty fluffy stuff! Katey loves the snow, you can see her in the picture above running in it. I hadn't taken Lyllian out in it until today because we mostly had ice. But, today Tim and I suited her up in her snow outfit and let her experience it.

Isn't she a precious snow angel. We didn't leave her hood off of her, but the snow suit was way to big and the hood covered her face. We were literally out in it for 3 minutes. We decided to bring her a snow ball inside to play with...

She was a little confused, but right after I snapped this picture she picked some up to put in her mouth-too bad I missed that. Then she proceeded to drop it on the floor piece by piece, but Katey ate it up-ha! I took a little video of Lyllian and her snow ball...

6 Month Check Up

Since we didn't have school today, I called Lyllian's Ped to see if I could change my appointment from Wednesday to today. We were able to, yay! So while we were waiting on the doctor, Lyllian had a little bottle...


We also played on the table, well actually we played with the paper, but it was still fun-see...

She also had to have shots, and she took them like a champ-with the help of her bottle. So her stats are;

weight: 16lbs 8 oz...50-65%

height: 26 1/2 inches...75%

head: 16 1/4 inches...10-25%

and a few things I forgot to add the other day:

~you wear a size 2 diaper

~you are growing out of your 3-6 month clothes, but only in length

~therefore, most of your clothes are 6-9 months, especially your pajamas

~you have started babbling hard consonants, all the time :)-makes a momma's heart smile everytime too!!

~you can transfer things from one hand to the other

~you are interested in EVERYTHING-daddy and I are in for it when you do crawl...
