Wishful Wednesday

This week's Wishful Wednesday was SUPER easy for me!

I wish...I could win the lottery REAL soon, and I would hope to...

I mean who wouldn't want to hang out with this precious girl every day?!?!?

That is my main goal, I would also like to donate some to church, pay off student loans, buy a house on a beach in Hawaii, buy a new house here with at least one more bedroom so we would be prepared for another baby, buy new furniture, but the BMW SUV I would really like to have, go on a shopping spree, donate some more to other charities, and just have fun with it...

A girl can dream right?!?!?

Actually, back in 2005 Tim and I won $10, 0o0 playing PowerBall. It was my one and only time to play. We were

1 number

away from

245 MILLION!!!!

Yep, that's right, 1 number was all we needed...

If you would like to play along head on over to Seattle Smith's and check out everyone else's wishes...

7 Months

Lyllian Grace you are now 7 months old and you are a busy little girl! Here is what you are up to these days...
*You are still wearing size 2 diapers, but Mommy and Daddy are buying size 3 from now on, you can technically wear them.
*You wear 6-9 month clothing for length, and a few things you have are 12 month.
*We aren't sure of your weight, you didn't have a check-up this month.
*You have gotten your flu shot.
*You are crawling A LOT!!
*You pull up on everything you can.
*You LOVE books! Maw Maw reads to you every day.
*You love fruit!
*You are becoming more accustomed to eating your veggies.
*You have tried puffs and yogurt melts and like them too!
*You still take your bottle, but usually only 3 times a day, you would much rather eat veggies and fruit.
*You are not interested in a sippy cup, even if we put your milk in it instead of water.
*You like to sit on your quilt and play with your toys.
*Your favorite toy is Grammie's IPhone, especially the Piano App.
*You laugh all the time!
*You are becoming very ticklish.
*Getting your dressed has gotten a little easier, you are beginning to understand helping by putting your arms through the holes.
*Daddy had to lower your crib because you can pull up on it to stand now.
*You are beginning to notice the big bows Mommy puts in your hair and that you can get them out. (makes Mommy shed a little tear)
*You love to watch Katey play and you belly laugh at her.
*Katey lets you pull on her and pet her when you want. She also likes to give you kisses.
*You know who has you and you like to raise your little arms up for us to pick you up.
*You still love to jump in your jumpers.
*You have discovered your lovie and sleep with it every night.
*You finally have figured out what teethers are for instead of your fingers.
*You are growing and discovering new things every day!
*When Mommy gets the camera out, your go for it everytime!

We love you sweet girl!

Weekend Wrap-up

WOW! This weekend has flown by and we have been busy bees! Only one week 'til Spring Break and I can't wait! I get to spend a whole week with Little Lyl and we will be going to the circus that week!!!

I LOVE being a mommy-especially because this little lady wakes up like this EVERY day! She always has this big grin on her face when I go to get her in the mornings, but now instead of lying in the bed to give me the grin...she has learned to pull herself up in her crib! Lord, help us when she learns to walk!!!
Saturday my mom came over to "help" me swap out Lyllian's 6 month clothes for 9 and 12 month clothes. I think she came over more for entertainment purposes though-ha! Lyllian loves to play in her crib while I am working in her room, I just put some toys in and away she goes. Well, Grammie and I decided to play dress up with some of her summer hats and her winter hats that came with outfits. We took one off and her hair looked a hot mess-ha! I love her expression her-"who, me?"

Today our church celebrated its FIRST birthday! (Happy Birthday, Crossroads!) In celebration we had "Dinner on the Grounds" and "Baptist Bird"-fried chicken. Each age group was assigned something different to bring, i.e. veggies, salads, desserts... Lyllian also wore her mommy's dress from when she was a little girl. Isn't she just adorable?!?!?!

This weekend was so beautiful and we couldn't let it go to waste. We decided after Lyl's nap this afternoon to pack up and head to the Shelby Farms Flea Market and then over to Shelby Farms for a stroll. Lyl loved it! We took Katey too, she whinned while we drove through the park until she was able to get out and run. I can't wait for more weekends like this!

Tonight we decided to have Olive Garden. It was delish! Lyllian is usually very good and only reaches for what I put on her little placemat thing, but tonight she wanted her daddy's lemon. We finally gave in and this was the reaction...

I didn't take a picture of this, but Friday night, my mom and I went to a consignment sale. I walked away with 10 smocked dresses, some pjs, two Fisher Price toys, a swim suit, a pair of Nike tennis shoes, and some play outfits for Lyl all for $182!!!! I was in HEAVEN!! I loved it! AND---95% of my items still had the original tags, including the Feltman Bros bubble outfit!!! Amazing, I know!
Hope y'all have a good week, I will be counting the days until Spring Break!

Ever since Lyllian has come along Katey, our first baby, has unfortunately not gotten as much attention as she is used to. She was the one who I cuddled with each night, that I been replaced wtih Lyl now. She was the one that went EVERYWHERE with me, that too has now become Lyl. I still try to give Katey as much one-on-one attention as possible when Lyllian is asleep. Today, Katey was able to spend some time with Daddy all by herself. Too bad for Katey, the day included a trip to the vet for her annual wellness visit. Everything was great! Look at her looking so sweet and innocent...

What a great way to get your girlfriends together and hang out. You can also get some great hostess gifts.
