Only 4 weeks to go!

YAY! I only have 4 more weeks ( I hope) of pregnancy!! I am very excited and I can't wait for Lyllian to arrive.

Today, Tim and I celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary! It really doesn't seem like it has been 2 years already. Since the 2nd anniversary gift is traditionally cotton, I bought Tim new pillows for the bed, I know, I know I am so thoughtful. I also bought him 2 polo shirts. He got me some of the most beautiful flowers in the world that included calla lillies (our wedding flower) and he is taking me to stay at the Peabody (where we stayed on our wedding night)-too bad we won't be leaving for Mexico again after our stay at the Peabody.

I have been nesting lately, cabinets have been cleaned out, the pantry has been cleaned out, my closet has been cleaned out, and Lyllian's nursery has continued to be worked on. This weather is tortuous to pregnant women, however, thank you to my friends that continually allow me to float in their pools so that I can get my much needed (wanted) sun and stay cool at the same time. I have already told Tim that our next house will come with a pool.

So, Lyllian, you can come anytime now, well except Thursday (NKOTB concert for my birthday!!!!) and next Tuesday (Wicked at the Orpheum); however any other time you want to meet us, we are anxiously awaiting you!

Update

We spent the weekend moving furniture (well my family moved furniture-I supervised) from the guest room into the scrapbook room.  Unfortunately, I have to give up my room.  Oh well, I know it will be worth it come July.  We have our big U/S in two weeks.  We are very excited and I can't wait to find out what we are having.  The sickness has gotten much better, but I don't think I am over it completely.  I have decided that I am not a very happy pregnant woman.  I don't guess I will ever be one of these women that loves to be pregnant.  Oh well.  

I am so ready for Spring Break, I can't wait to do some shopping that week!!!

8 weeks and counting

I went yesterday for an 8 week check up.  I went by myself and hoped the whole way they didn't do an ultrasound, not that I didn't want one, I just wanted Tim to be there for it.  They didn't, all they did was blood work.  I got all of the paperwork for the hospital-how fun!  We don't go back until the middle of January, which is when we get to do the ultrasound to hear the heartbeat-we are so excited and can't wait.  

Baby Bogue already has Christmas presents at his/her grandparents houses and at his/her great aunt & uncle's house.  Tim and I are getting each other a glider for Christmas, guess we have no more that are just about us-ha!

Pregnant

Yep, that's right, we're pregnant!  We are so excited!  We are 7 weeks along.  We went to the doctor last week.  It was so exciting, we got to see the heartbeat.  It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.  Tim can't wait to be a daddy and he has been so good to me through all the morning sickness and now this cold I can't get rid of.  We will keep everyone posted with the progress.
